Mindful Movement. Meaningful Connection.

Hi, I'm Marissa, and I'm so glad you're here.

Yoga has a beautiful way of meeting us exactly where we are. Whether you're looking to build strength, reduce stress, improve mobility, or simply take a deep breath in the middle of a busy life, you'll find a practice designed to support you. My goal is to create a welcoming and safe space where you can move mindfully, reconnect with yourself, and discover that Yoga is NOW—not someday, not when you're more flexible or have more time, but right here, exactly as you are, and in this very moment.

If you'd like to learn more about my journey and what inspired me to become a yoga teacher, I'd love to share my story.

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe yoga is so much more than movement. While the physical practice builds strength, balance, and flexibility, the heart of yoga lies in cultivating awareness, presence, and a deeper connection to ourselves.

The wisdom of yoga is just as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago, and I enjoy weaving those timeless teachings into my classes in meaningful, relatable ways. My hope is that every practice offers not only an opportunity to move your body, but also to reflect, grow, and discover how yoga can support life beyond the mat.

To me, Yoga is NOW. It isn't reserved for the day you become more flexible, less busy, or somehow "better" at yoga. It begins the moment you choose to be present—with your body, your breath, and your full attention.

I don't believe yoga asks us to become someone different. I believe it gently invites us to remember who we've been all along.

🧘 What Is Yoga?

Yoga is so much more than movement.

Honestly, Yoga isn't about touching your toes, standing on your head, or looking a certain way. Yes, it can be very physical; because our body is the vessel that teaches us what we need to know about ourselves…

Some people come to yoga hoping to become stronger.
Others come to ease stress, improve flexibility, or simply carve out an hour for themselves.

It's a practice of learning to be present with yourself—through movement, breath, awareness, and stillness.

"Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind."

Wherever you're beginning, you're welcome here.

You don't need to be flexible.
You don't need to know the poses.
You don't need the "right" yoga clothes.

You simply have to show up exactly as you are.

❤️ That is enough.

Yoga Fundamentals

A slower-paced, instructional class designed to help you build a strong foundation for your yoga practice. We break down postures step by step, explore alignment and anatomy, and create space to ask questions. This class is welcoming to beginners and equally valuable for experienced students who want to deepen their understanding of the poses.

Fundamental Flow

A mindful, accessible flow class that connects movement with breath. Expect a steady sequence designed to build strength, improve mobility, and deepen body awareness without feeling rushed. Some familiarity with basic yoga postures may be helpful, but all are welcome to practice at their own pace.

Hot Flow

A dynamic, breath-centered yoga practice offered in a heated room. This class combines strength, mobility, balance, and flowing movement to create an energizing full-body experience. Come prepared to move, sweat, breathe, and meet yourself wherever you are that day.

Candlelight Flow

A gentle, meditative flow practiced in the soft glow of candlelight. Thoughtful movement, breath, and stillness come together to help you release the day and reconnect with yourself. This class is calming and grounding while still offering the benefits of a complete physical practice. During the Savasana of this class I offer a mini-sound bath.

Sound Bath Meditation

A deeply restful meditation experience supported by the colors of lights, the ambiance of candlelight, and the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls and other sound-healing instruments. You will be invited to get comfortable, become still, and simply receive. No meditation or yoga experience is necessary.

Yoga and Sound Bath Experiences

These special offerings blend mindful yoga with an extended sound bath meditation. Each experience may have a unique theme or style, but the intention is always to create space for movement, rest, reflection, and connection.
